Arch McMichael, CPA, has built a distinguished career in public accounting and business consulting, serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University before beginning his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. He later became a partner in a commercial real estate company, where he gained broad experience in both finance and complex partnership structures.

In 1979, Arch founded A. W. McMichael & Co., establishing a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and client-focused service. Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, he has guided the firm with a strong emphasis on personalized tax and consulting solutions.
Today, while Arch remains fully active in the firm, leadership has transitioned to his son, Bill, ensuring continuity of the practice and its values. The firm continues to provide comprehensive tax and consulting services with the same commitment to excellence that Arch established at its founding.
